Nurses With Savvy was founded with one purpose: To make healthcare easier to understand and navigate for real people, not just professionals.
Behind this mission is a nurse who knows the healthcare system inside and out and, more importantly, understands what it feels like to be on the other side of it.
My Passion
About the Founder
I’m Nicole W. Stevenson, LVN, BSHM, CCM, a licensed nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, a credentialed Certified Case Manager, and Lean Six Sigma trained in healthcare quality and process improvement. My background blends clinical insight, care coordination expertise, and systems-level understanding of how healthcare really works.
That changed for me in 2018 ...
When my husband suffered a stroke, I became a caregiver overnight, managing his many appointments, coordinating his transition to rehabilitation, communicating with providers, and handling care at home while raising a family and supporting my aging parents.
I know how overwhelming the healthcare system can feel, even when you’re doing everything you can. That experience showed me that families need more than instructions, they need someone who understands the system and can walk alongside them.
That’s why I created Nurses With Savvy: to provide personalized patient advocacy, caregiver support, and healthcare navigation services that bring clarity, coordination, and peace of mind, so you’re never navigating healthcare alone.
The Heart Behind Nurses With Savvy
What I Learned...
My Journey...
For over a decade, I worked in hospitals and managed care organizations, supporting patients through complex systems, including care coordination, hospital discharge planning, and utilization management. I often saw families who needed more guidance, clearer communication, and ongoing support but the system didn’t always allow for it.
